I summarize my opinion of books with a simple letter grade system:
A - I love it!
B - I like it.
C - It's okay.
D - I don't like it.
F - I hate it.
I love the cover of Little Princes so much. The cover alone makes me want to consider picking it up.
I also got Proof of Heaven this week for review. I’m interested in seeing how that story unfolds.
Historical fiction–this is a genre that I really want to get into and enjoy. I really do. But I haven’t ever given it much of a chance! I did recently get a copy of Sandra Byrd’s To Die For, so that will be my next venture into the historical fiction genre. Hopefully I’ll love it and be able to find my own place within that broad, broad area of historical fiction. The covers are always so pretty.
I’m the same way, Asheley. I just don’t read a lot of historical fiction, but I would like to read more.
I think The September Queen sounds really good. Enjoy!
Proof of Heaven seems very interesting! It sounds like it’s going to be a touching novel. I really wonder if the boy found his father.
I picked up Little Princes at our Borders closing sale. I have heard good things about it. I look forward to your review on Little Princes and Proof of Heaven.
Like your first two historical fiction books. Both new to me as well.
